New Year, New You

BevelCode.com was created as a resource for men of color to find answers about their skin, hair and general grooming tips. Since it began in 2014, hundreds of articles have been posted.

In an effort to give the page visual refresh in the New Year, myself, the content manager and Wordpress developer researched and implemented a new design with a mix of new content and refreshed articles that have performed well in the past. The more time spent on BevelCode.com, directly correlates to a higher chance of purchase on getbevel.com.

Why the New Year?

Everyone loves the concept of the new year. A fresh chance to be the best version of you. We wanted to provide that for our readership of over 80,000. So we pulled our most read articles, as well as requests from users and created the page you see before you. Each thing from growing your hair out to staying well groomed at work was parsed down to the absolute essentials, almost like a new years checklist.

This was a shoot done for social to tease the new page layout and was also used on getbevel.com and in our emails to drive traffic to the page with fresh colors and imagery.
